Dear Pastor, Congregation and Friends,
I can’t believe that our furlough ends in a month! The next letter we send to you will be from Colmenar Viejo. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the supporting churches that have given us the opportunity to give a report on our ministry and for the new churches that have allowed us to present our vision for Spain. The Lord is providing for our support and needs. Since our last letter we have had one supporting church raise our support and two new churches take us on for support. That brings our support level up to 85%! Not only that, we received another $500 towards our vehicle fund. That brings the total amount we still need down to $2,000. Praise the Lord!
Even as we prepare to go back the work continues in Spain. Eduardo Sedoski has started another Come and See Bible study in Colmenar, in addition to the one he has been leading in his home in the town of San Agustín de Guadalix. Eduardo’s desire to share the gospel with others is a huge encouragement to me and to the believers in the Colmenar church. As soon as we get back I will be meeting up with Eduardo and the other men in the church, like Jeremiah Stormont and Wooil Byun, to see how we can reach more people with the gospel. We want to be aggressive about getting the gospel to people in Colmenar and the surrounding towns. This will involve training men to lead Bible studies and all our members to better know how to share the gospel with others. Discipling them is key. In Parla, the church is enjoying their new space (pictured)!
This is my first update since I announced that we would be sending our prayer letters out on a monthly basis. I’m excited about the possibility of keeping in contact with you more regularly. We greatly value our communication with you. In order to ensure that you never miss one of our updates I am in the process of checking and making sure that you are on our regular and email prayer letter list. Remember that the physical letter will go out every two months, but the email will go out monthly. You will probably be getting a call or email from me soon confirming all of your contact information.
